Platinum

Platinum is a precious metal that is usually mixed with other metals, such as: rhodium, palladium, osmium, ruthenium, and iridium. These are know as the platinum group metals – and are very similar to platinum.

Platinum is much more durable than gold and does not damage as much over time.

It is number 78 on the periodic table.
